Cianjur Police Headquarters in West Java will deploy two-thirds of its personnel during Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026, positioning them at various posts throughout the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah exodus and return period.

Regional Police Chief Ajun Komisaris Besar Akhmad Alexander Yurikho Hadi stated that Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026 will establish numerous Security Posts, Service Posts, and Integrated Posts distributed across multiple locations. These posts will be available for use by all elements involved in the operation.

“We are collectively providing the best service for the community during Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026,” Alexander said following the Security Personnel Deployment Roll Call at Cianjur Police Headquarters on Thursday, 12 March.

Cianjur Police will mobilise various vehicles to support personnel throughout the operation, ensuring safe and comfortable travel for holiday travellers. “All our facilities—two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles—are being utilised to support smooth travel, safety, and comfort for road users,” Alexander explained.

Cianjur Regent Mohammad Wahyu Ferdian praised the commitment of the Police, Military, and regional technical government apparatus in securing the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah celebrations. For two weeks, deployed personnel will operate under Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026.

“For travellers, may you arrive safely at your destinations,” Wahyu said.

National road infrastructure readiness has reached 93.5% in supporting the operation. The success of Operation Ketupat Lodaya depends significantly on the readiness of official vehicles as operational support. West Java Regional Police has deployed 26,692 combined personnel for Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026, coordinating security measures across the province. The broader Operation Ketupat programme to secure Eid travel continues across Indonesia, with 299 vehicle accidents recorded on Friday, 4 April during the current cycle.
