The corruption case involving hajj quotas that has ensnared former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas has entered a new controversial phase. The public was shocked by news that the KPK designated Yaqut Cholil Qoumas as a house detainee right before Eid al-Fitr 1447 H in March 2026.
