Chronology of Sergeant AMF Assaulted by 4 Seniors, Struck Three Times in the Chest

The Commander of the Indonesian Air Force Military Police Centre (Danpuspomau), Air Vice Marshal Daan Sulfi, has explained the chronology of the assault that led to the death of Sergeant AMF following abuse by his seniors.

“The suspects believed that if one becomes a senior, they must take responsibility. ‘This is a warning from me,’ their senior said. However, that warning turned into physical assault,” Daan stated during a press conference at the Puspomau Headquarters, Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Daan noted that the assault began when one of the suspects, Sergeant MTS, called his junior, Sergeant RP, on Tuesday, 8 September. During the conversation, RP unilaterally hung up the phone, which offended MTS.

MTS subsequently requested that RP, along with his batchmates AMF and ZN, meet him at the Galaxy Mess of the Indonesian Air Force Psychological Service, Halim Perpendakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.
