Chronology of IKN Authority Spokesperson Found Deceased in Nusantara Civil Servant Flats

The Spokesperson for the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority, Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, has passed away. Troy was found lifeless in his residential unit at the ASN 3 Tower 6 flats in Nusantara City. Deputy for Development Control of the IKN Authority, Thomas Umbu Pati Tena Bolodadi, stated that Troy died of natural causes. A medical examination from the local hospital confirmed that Troy passed away on Saturday (25/7) at 14:25 Central Indonesian Time. ‘He was taken to the hospital around 12:45 WITA and immediately examined by a team of doctors. At 14:25 WITA, the doctors confirmed he had died of natural causes,’ Thomas said, as reported by Antara on Sunday (26/7/2026). Thomas explained that Troy was originally scheduled to travel to Balikpapan on Saturday (25/7) at 08:00 WITA to lead a service at a local church. According to gathered information, the deceased had woken up and was carrying out normal activities since 06:00 WITA. However, suspicion arose when his personal driver tried to contact him ahead of the departure time. Repeated phone calls from the driver went unanswered. Worried that something had happened, the driver took the initiative to go directly to Troy’s room. ‘The door was knocked on and his name was called, but there was still no answer. We then decided to force open the locked door. When we managed to open it, we found him lying on the bed,’ Thomas said. Upon examination at the scene, Troy was found not breathing. The IKN Authority immediately rushed him to the nearest hospital. Based on the initial physical examination, Thomas stressed that there were no suspicious signs on Troy’s body. The family stated that Troy had a medical history of hypertension and took medication daily to manage his health condition. After administrative processes and a tribute at Hermina IKN Hospital, Troy Pantouw’s body was immediately flown to Jakarta. The authorities estimate that the body will arrive at the funeral home in Jakarta on Sunday morning (26/7).
