Chooses to Resign After Transfer for Investigating Alleged Corruption Case, Vicky: The Spirit of Bhayangkara Remains Forever

Aipda Vicky Katiandago has suddenly become the focus of social media attention. His name is widely discussed after he decided to end his service in the police force.

According to various sources, Vicky was previously known as a brave police officer who handled major cases, including corruption matters. However, after being transferred by his superiors, he ultimately chose to resign.

Before resigning, Aipda Vicky served as the Head of the Special Crimes Unit at Sat Reskrim, Polres Minahasa, North Sulawesi, with the task of handling corruption cases. He was then transferred to Polres Talaud before deciding to leave the police force.

His decision to step down from the police institution has drawn significant attention, especially since he uploaded a farewell video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. In the post on his Instagram, Vicky wrote a farewell greeting and thanks to his colleagues and associates from his previous postings.

“Thank you Polda Sulut, Thank you Polres Minahasa, thank you Polres Kepulauan Talaud. Thank you ZAZG,” he wrote on his Instagram account, quoted on Thursday, 2 April 2026.

In the caption, Vicky also wrote a heartfelt message that touched social media users. He stated that although he is no longer a police member, the Bhayangkara spirit remains attached to his soul.

“Whenever this brown uniform can be removed… but the spirit, ONCE A BHAYANGKARA, FOREVER A BHAYANGKARA. I ❤️ POLICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA. I Quit,” he wrote.

This statement reflects his commitment to the values of service even though he is no longer an active member of the Indonesian National Police.
