Chinese Smartphones Set to Feature Technology Found in Galaxy S26 Ultra

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Flagship Chinese smartphones from Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo are set to arrive with Privacy Display technology using AMOLED technology similar to that found in South Korean manufacturer Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.

GSM Arena reported on Monday (23/2) that Chinese smartphone manufacturers have begun testing hardware-level privacy screen technology, similar to that featured in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Sources close to the smartphone companies said the feature may appear in flagship smartphones launching around September this year.

Other rumours indicate that the Xiaomi 18 series is expected to launch around September 2026. Additionally, the Vivo X500 and Oppo Find X10 are forecast to launch approximately one month later.

Meanwhile, OnePlus and Realme are likely to release their flagship devices around the same period. However, it remains to be seen which specific models will incorporate the new display technology.
