Chinese arrested for visa violations

CIREBON, West Java: Cirebon Police force officially detained two Chinese nationals for visa and immigration violations on Wednesday.

The two Chinese were identified as Chen Wen Kay, 40, and Chang Mei Fung, 33.

"The two foreign nationals were unable to show proper immigration documents, including visas and passports, and will soon face legal action," Cirebon Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Siswandi said.

The two were arrested selling electronic goods on Jl. Karanggetas.

The police also seized electronic goods and other merchandise, including four Russian-made sets of binoculars. -- JP
