China's Autonomous Regions Record Significant Economic Growth
Beijing (ANTARA) - The combined gross domestic product (GDP) of China’s five provincial-level autonomous regions surged from 3.25 trillion yuan (1 yuan = Rp2,632) in 2012 to 8.66 trillion yuan in 2025, a senior official announced on Wednesday (24/6). The data was revealed by Duan Yijun, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, during a press conference organised by the State Council Information Office. The five autonomous regions are Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region.
