China: Xi and Trump to Discuss World Peace

Beijing (ANTARA) - Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump will discuss bilateral relations as well as issues of world peace and development during Trump’s state visit to China this week. “Chinese President Xi Jinping will have an in-depth exchange of views with US President Donald Trump on important issues related to China-US relations, as well as world peace and development,” said spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Guo Jiakun at a press conference on Monday (11/5). Guo stated that China is ready to expand cooperation and resolve differences with the US to bring greater stability and certainty to the world. According to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trump will make a state visit to China on 13-15 May.
