China urges US and Israel to halt military attacks on Iran

Beijing (ANTARA) - A spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the country is gravely concerned about military attacks on Iran launched by the United States and Israel, and is calling for an immediate end to such military operations.

The statement was delivered by the spokesperson when asked to comment on military attacks against Iran conducted by the United States and Israel on Saturday, 28 February Beijing time, as reported by Xinhua.

China is deeply concerned about the military attacks on Iran launched by the United States and Israel, and emphasised that Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity must be respected.

The Chinese government is urging an immediate cessation of military operations. China is also calling on all parties to prevent further escalation and to resume dialogue and negotiations, whilst demonstrating commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
