China ready to cooperate on development with Kyrgyzstan

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday (31/8) that China is ready to work with Kyrgyzstan to align development strategies, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The two countries will also deepen exchanges of experience in governance, deliver more tangible and accessible benefits from practical cooperation, and achieve substantive progress in building a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future.

In his opening remarks during a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Xi said that under their leadership, bilateral relations have progressed rapidly, with cooperation expanding in all fields in recent years.

Major cooperation projects with Kyrgyzstan, including the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, have made steady progress in recent years, providing effective support for the development of both countries, bringing benefits to the people, and promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region, Xi said, according to Xinhua.
