China reaches Sudirman Cup final

COPENHAGEN (JP): Defending champion China moved a step closer
to scoring an unprecedented hat trick of victory at the Sudirman
Cup mixed team badminton championships here after beating South
Korea 3-2 in the semifinals here on Friday.

The Chinese will meet the winner of the other semifinal match
between host Denmark and Indonesia, which started on 6 p.m. local
time or 11 a.m. West Indonesia Time.

Chinese men's doubles team of Zhang Jun and Yu Jinhao sealed
South Korea's fate in the duel between two teams which have won
the tournament twice each. The makeshift pair of Zhang and Yu
upset South Korean world number seven eight tandem of Lee Dong-
soo and Yoo Yong-sung 15-3, 15-5 to give China a winning 3-1
