China, India hold 25th special representatives meeting on border issues
The special representatives of China and India will hold the 25th round of negotiations on unresolved border issues in Beijing on Tuesday. Chinese Foreign Minister and Special Representative for Border Issues Wang Yi will co-chair the meeting with India’s Special Representative and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. The two are expected to continue discussions on the current situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on the China-India border, troop deployments, and the process of withdrawing and disengaging forces at several sensitive points in the mountainous region. The delineation of the boundary line and the general state of relations between the two countries will also be on the agenda.
