China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd. has accelerated the development of digital port systems and express rail services, while continuously enhancing connectivity between infrastructure facilities at ports. These efforts have improved the efficiency and capacity of the eastern corridor for China-Europe freight train services. By June 2026, the total number of China-Europe Express journeys through the eastern corridor had surpassed 40,000. The eastern corridor, comprising the three main rail ports of Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang, currently connects more than 60 cities in China with 14 countries in Europe via 27 regular routes. The corridor serves as a tangible example of efforts to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
