China establishes six new education bases to promote human rights

Beijing (ANTARA) — China has recently established six national education and training bases on human rights (HAM), bringing the total to 20.

These bases, which were first launched in 2011, are designed to promote the development of human rights efforts in China through strengthening theoretical research, personnel training, as well as exchanges and cooperation.

According to a circular issued by Chinese authorities, the move constitutes an important step in implementing China’s National Human Rights Action Plan (2021-2025).
