China Cycle 2026: Building a Global Platform to Promote Cooperation and Innovation in the Bicycle Industry
Shanghai — China International Bicycle Fair 2026 (China Cycle 2026) will be held from 5 to 8 May 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Leveraging China’s strategic position as a global hub for the bicycle industry, the fair this year will provide an efficient business platform for companies at home and abroad to strengthen cooperation and spur the development of environmentally friendly mobility.
Drawing on more than three decades of experience in innovation and development of the industry, China Cycle has grown into one of the key events shaping global trends in the two-wheeler sector. The fair this year will span 13 exhibition halls, showcasing a range of products such as bicycles, components, and related technologies. The enhanced business matching programme and cross-border procurement services will offer participants and global buyers opportunities to engage in business partnerships more effectively.
In 2025, the fair attracted 156,350 visitors, including nearly 17,000 international visitors from 144 countries and regions. Buyers from 33 countries participated in the cross-border procurement meetings with exhibitors, resulting in nearly 100 initial collaboration deals. These initial discussions alone generated potential partnerships valued at more than USD 20 million, underscoring the scale, appeal, and market potential of China for the global bicycle industry.
China is currently the world’s largest producer and consumer of bicycles and electric bicycles, accounting for more than 60% of global industry trade volume. With a mature industry ecosystem and advantages of large-scale production, Chinese companies are able to offer products and solutions that combine high performance with cost efficiency, creating high-value partnership opportunities for global buyers.
Additionally, rising Chinese consumer demand for high-quality bicycles and innovative electric mobility solutions presents significant opportunities for international brands.
China Cycle 2026 will feature leading global brands such as Giant, Merida, and Shimano, as well as well-known Chinese companies such as Phoenix and Forever. Participants will showcase innovative products, the latest technology, and industry trends.
China Cycle 2026 will continue to serve as a bridge to strengthen global cooperation and stimulate technology exchange in the two-wheeled vehicle industry. Industry partners, buyers, and professional visitors can participate in the event—to discover new business opportunities, share perspectives on industry trends, or witness the latest innovations that will shape the future of the bicycle and electric bicycle industries worldwide.
