China Announces Policies to Enhance Cross-Strait Cooperation with Taiwan

Beijing (ANTARA) - Authorities on mainland China have announced a package comprising 10 policies and measures to enhance exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait. The Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee announced the package on Sunday (12/4), stating that its objective is to promote the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations and to strengthen familial bonds and shared prosperity among people on both sides of the strait. The announcement was made as a delegation from China’s Kuomintang (KMT) party, led by party chairman Cheng Li-wun, concluded its visit to mainland China from Tuesday (7/4) to Sunday (12/4).
