Beijing (ANTARA) - China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Thursday (4/6) that more than 100 events aimed at boosting the country’s imports will be held by 2026, with the goal of bringing more high-quality goods to Chinese companies and consumers.

The first international event will take place in Belarus on 7 June, followed by another in Germany on 11 June, marking the series’ debut in the European Union (EU), stated He Yongqian, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, during a press conference.

Under the theme ‘Export to China’, these events will serve as platforms and bridges for companies worldwide to expand their exports to China, allowing nations to further benefit from China’s ongoing development.

International companies are encouraged to participate in these events and continue engaging in China’s major exhibitions, such as the China International Import Expo (CIIE), for mutual benefit.

The ministry has previously organised similar events in Chinese cities including Beijing and Hangzhou.
