China and US Hold Economic and Trade Consultative Dialogue in New York

Teams from China and the United States engaged in an open, in-depth, and constructive dialogue during economic and trade consultations on Sunday (20/9).

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, leading the Chinese delegation, held economic and trade talks in New York with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

Guided by the significant consensus reached by the heads of state of both nations, the Chinese and US teams exchanged views on critical economic and trade issues of mutual concern, as well as the implementation of agreements reached in previous discussions.

The parties also conducted a dialogue regarding issues related to artificial intelligence (AI).
