China and France Agree to Deepen Economic and Financial Cooperation
Paris — China’s Vice Premier He Lifeng and French Finance Minister Roland Lescure held in-depth discussions in Paris on Monday, 16 March, regarding the latest developments in China-France economic and financial cooperation and other matters of shared concern.
As head of the Chinese delegation to the China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue, He conveyed that China is ready to cooperate with France to implement important consensuses reached by President Xi Jinping and President Emmanuel Macron.
He called for deepening exchanges and cooperation in the economic and financial sectors, whilst promoting the development of a stable and sustainable bilateral economic relationship.
He also briefed the French side on China-United States economic and trade talks held on the same day.
Lescure, heading the French delegation in the dialogue, stated that France places great importance on cooperation with China and is ready to work with China to advance pragmatic cooperation in economic and financial matters and achieve greater progress.
