Child of Author Submits Photo and Video Evidence Regarding Alleged Detention

Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of author Ahmad Bahar, was summoned by investigators from the Metro Jaya Regional Police for clarification regarding her report on the alleged detention involving the Chairman of GRIB Jaya, Rosario de Marshall, also known as Hercules. Ilma’s legal team confirmed they have submitted photographic and video evidence to the investigators.

“In accordance with the clarification summons we received, an examination or clarification of Ms Ilma Sani Fitriana, as the complainant or victim, is being conducted today,” stated Ilma’s lawyer, Gufroni, to journalists at the Metro Jaya Regional Police Headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6/2026).

“We have prepared evidence including videos, photos, screenshots, and witnesses to strengthen Ms Ilma’s report within the Political Crimes unit,” he continued. The evidence was compiled by Gufroni onto a single flash drive. He expressed hope that the submitted evidence would bolster his client’s case and that the case status would be upgraded to a full investigation once the complainants, witnesses, and the reported party have been examined.

Previously, the GRIB Jaya organisation filed a counter-report against Ilma Sani Fitriana at the Metro Jaya Regional Police, accusing her of spreading fake news. Hika TA Putra, spokesperson for the GRIB Jaya Legal and Advocacy Team, stated on Monday (25/5) that they had received special power of attorney from Haji Hercules to represent him in the report.

The report against Ilma was registered under number LP/B/3R49/V/2026/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA, dated 25 May 2026, citing alleged violations of Article 264 of the Criminal Code and Law Number 1 of 2023 regarding the dissemination of false information. The legal team alleged that Ilma and her associates spread incomplete, uncertain, and exaggerated information.

Hika noted that they had provided evidence from media links and social media posts to the police. He emphasised that the report was filed because Hercules felt aggrieved by the allegations of detention, adding that the organisation aims to prevent the exploitation of unverified information for specific interests.
