Chicken vendor beaten to death
JAKARTA (JP): A food seller was killed by a robber who stole Rp 300,000 from him at the Kramat Jati market, East Jakarta.
Rudiyanto (30), who sold grilled corn and fried chicken, was robbed in the evening when he was about to open his business.
Andri, his nephew, said that the family found out about the incident on Tuesday morning when a security guard of the Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital told the family.
Another nephew said Rudiyanto was suffered severe head wounds.
He said that the money stolen was to have been used to buy corn and chicken.
Police found no witnesses to the incident. (05)
