Bank Indonesia (BI), through the National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), reported that the price of shallots reached Rp 50,950 per kilogram (kg), a decrease of Rp 2,650 per kg. Medium-quality grade I rice was priced at Rp 16,300 per kg, and medium-quality grade II rice at Rp 16,100 per kg. Super-quality grade I rice was priced at Rp 17,600 per kg, and super-quality grade II rice at Rp 17,100 per kg. PIHPS further recorded the price of large red chillies at Rp 53,100 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp 53,500 per kg, green bird’s eye chillies at Rp 51,900 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp 69,750 per kg. The price of grade I beef was Rp 149,200 per kg, and grade II beef was priced at Rp 140,200 per kg. For other commodities, the price of premium granulated sugar was recorded at Rp 20,300 per kg, and local granulated sugar at Rp 19,750 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp 20,550 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp 24,200 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp 23,350 per litre.
