The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded the price of purebred chicken eggs at Rp29,750 per kilogram (kg), whilst shallots were priced at Rp50,950 per kg on Saturday morning.

According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta at 08:56 WIB, other nationally recorded retail food prices included garlic at Rp43,600 per kg.

Furthermore, lower-quality grade I rice was priced at Rp14,600 per kg, and lower-quality grade II rice at Rp14,600 per kg. Medium-quality grade I rice was Rp16,300 per kg, and medium-quality grade II rice was Rp16,100 per kg.

Super-quality grade I rice was priced at Rp17,600 per kg, and super-quality grade II rice at Rp17,100 per kg.

PIHPS also recorded the price of large red chillies at Rp53,100 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp53,500 per kg, green bird’s eye chillies at Rp51,900 per kg, and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp69,750 per kg.

Fresh purebred chicken meat was Rp37,200 per kg, grade I beef was Rp149,200 per kg, and grade II beef was priced at Rp140,200 per kg.

For other commodities, premium-quality granulated sugar was recorded at Rp20,300 per kg, and local granulated sugar at Rp19,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp20,550 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp24,200 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp23,350 per litre.
