Jakarta (ANTARA) - At the Chery Brand International Summit 2026 in Wuhu, Anhui, China, on Tuesday, Chery revealed its global strategy for the 2026–2030 period, which will be more aligned with the needs of modern families. On that occasion, as summarised in an official press release received in Jakarta on Tuesday, the Chinese automaker also announced it will launch 13 new models with increasingly comprehensive options, ranging from petrol engines, mild hybrids, hybrids, to pure electric vehicles (BEVs), in SUV, sedan, and pickup segments over the next two years. Innovation is further strengthened through the development of solid-state batteries, AI agents, and Chery’s Valet Parking Driver (VPD) smart parking technology, as well as expanding the intelligent mobility ecosystem in collaboration with AiMOGA Robotics to deliver more connected experiences between vehicles and robots. On the other hand, Chery targets adding 35 new partnerships in 2026, supported by strengthened marketing on new media, talent development, and comprehensive enhancement of customer experience. Through these steps, Chery aims to ensure that growth towards the target of one million new family users is built on relevant products, continuously evolving technology, and mutually reinforcing global collaborations. “Numbers show achievements, but trust is built through consistency. Chery will continue to maintain the trust of millions of families worldwide with real commitments and collaboration with partners. This statement affirms that Chery’s business growth goes hand in hand with the ability to maintain family trust globally,” said Chery Brand CEO, Jeff Zhang. This approach is increasingly relevant in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, where car purchasing decisions are heavily influenced by family considerations. In Indonesia, Chery notes that demand is steadily increasing for vehicles that are safe, comfortable, practical, and support daily activities. Through the integration of products, technology, and services, Chery strives to deliver mobility solutions that are closer to the lives of modern families.
