JAKARTA — Chery is preparing to present a uniquely styled electric car named the Chery QQ3. The model is scheduled to launch on 10 March 2026 in China and is said to be a direct rival to Geely’s EX2. As the official debut approaches, several specifications details have begun to leak.

Quoted from Carnewschina.com, on Tuesday 3 March 2026, the vehicle’s platform is said to bear similarity to the Chery QQ concept car that was unveiled last year. The ‘QQ’ name itself is not new, having previously been used on Chery’s legendary city car from the early 2000s.

In terms of dimensions, the car is compact and designed for urban mobility. It is 4,195 mm long, 1,811 mm wide, and 1,569 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The figures are not far from the Geely EX2, projected as its main rival in the market.

Inside, the interior carries a futuristic feel. The QQ3 is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating-style head unit resembling a tablet. This unit uses a Snapdragon 8155 chipset and is supported by an AI-powered voice assistant, which is one of its key attractions.

In the propulsion sector, the QQ3 will be available with LFP battery options of 29.5 kWh and 41.3 kWh. Their power outputs are 78 hp and 121 hp, with estimated ranges between 310 km and 420 km, depending on the chosen battery variant.

Although the official launch is not until 10 March, pre-orders have been open since February. Interestingly, the number of orders reportedly reached 27,139 units.
