Chery Q Price Leak: Below Rp230 Million?
JAKARTA – Chery has strongly indicated that its new electric vehicle, the Chery Q, will be priced below Rp230 million.
Customers who have made pre-orders are promised a full refund of their booking fee should the official price exceed that amount.
The information was provided by Chery sales staff to Kompas.com. Currently, customers can pre-book by paying a Rp5 million deposit to secure a queue number.
‘Price information is around Rp200 million. If the price exceeds Rp230 million, the booking fee will be refunded 100 per cent, as noted in the vehicle order document,’ a Chery sales representative told Kompas.com on Sunday (31 May 2026).
Although not yet officially announced, the launch and price announcement of the Chery Q is expected at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

The package includes four features: Power Tailgate, Autonomous Parking Assist, 17-inch custom-designed alloy wheels, and External Communication Audio.
Additionally, the Chery Q is equipped with key features that are major selling points in the urban electric vehicle segment.
The electric vehicle is claimed to have a range of over 400 kilometres on a single charge and uses rear-wheel drive (RWD).
Although the official price remains undisclosed, Chery previously indicated the electric vehicle would be priced in the Rp200 million range.
The Chery Q will be available in three colours: Dusk Purple, Oak Latte, and Spark White. Deliveries to customers are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
