Chery Q Now Open for Pre-Order, Delivery to Customers in Q3 2026

Jakarta, Kompas.com – Chery has begun opening early orders or pre-orders for the Chery Q in Indonesia, even though the official price has not yet been fully announced. President Director of Chery Group Indonesia, Zeng Shuo, said customers can start placing orders from today via Chery’s official website. ‘Yes, so the pre-order is officially open today. So customers can scan a barcode and visit our official website,’ said Zeng Shuo in Jakarta on Monday evening, 18 May 2026. ‘And once booked, there will be certainty about when customers will receive their car if they pre-order. We will estimate the delivery time in Q3 2026,’ he said. Although orders are open, Chery still keeps the official price confidential. The manufacturer has only given a price range in the vicinity of Rp 2xx million. The final price of the electric car is said to be announced only at the official launch in Q3 2026. One of the Chery Q’s main attractions is its rapid charging technology. The car is claimed to be capable of fast charging from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 16.5 minutes. Although battery specifications have not been disclosed, Chery says the electric car’s range can reach about 400 kilometres on a single charge. From the presentation shown, the Chery Q will be available in at least three colours: Spark White, Oat Latte, and Dusk Purple.
