Chery Q electric car specifications, range reaches 400 km

Chery has started to reveal the specifications of the Chery Q for the Indonesian market. This compact electric SUV comes with a range of modern features designed to support urban mobility. Product Manager Yusuf of PT Chery Sales Indonesia said the Chery Q has enough driving range for daily needs and mid-distance trips.

Globally, the Chery QQ3 EV or the Chery Q in Indonesia is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery option up to 41.28 kWh. The electric car is claimed to be able to cover up to 420 kilometres according to CLTC testing.

In terms of dimensions, the Chery Q measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width, 1,573 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. These dimensions give rear passenger legroom of 977 mm, providing a more spacious cabin for a compact electric vehicle.

“For range (NEDC) we are at 400 km,” Yusuf said in Jakarta on Monday (18 May 2026).

The electric car features a power frunk at the front to simplify loading, and there are 38 storage compartments claimed to keep the cabin neat and functional.

Additionally, there is a Vehicle to Load (V2L) 6.6 kW function that allows the car to act as a portable power source for various external devices.

The driving experience is made more practical through Autonomous Parking Assist (APA) combined with radar sensors and a 540-degree HD Panoramic Camera.

The Chery Q also includes power-folding heated side mirrors to maintain optimal visibility while driving.

Safety is enhanced with six airbags and a battery certified IP68 waterproof and dustproof to protect vital vehicle components.

These active safety features are paired with Autonomous Parking Assist and a 540-degree camera to enhance safety and ease when manoeuvring in urban streets.
