Chery Q electric car priced at around Rp200 million, pre-orders now open
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chery has announced the price range for its latest electric vehicle, the Chery Q, which is expected to be sold for around Rp200 million.
“Chery Indonesia has officially opened the pre-booking period for the Chery Q for Indonesian consumers, and bookings can be made online via our official website,” said Budi Darmawan Jantania, Vice Country Director of the Chery Business Unit, in Jakarta on Monday.
Chery will reveal the full pricing for the vehicle in the near future, while the pre-order period is already open and will run until 15 July 2026 with no maximum quota.
At the same event, Zeng Shuo, Country Director of Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI), stated that this compact electric car will be locally produced and is scheduled to be delivered to customers’ garages in the third quarter of this year.
“We estimate delivery will take place in the third quarter. All Chery products, including the Chery Q, are already being produced here,” he added.
The Chinese manufacturer also offers various additional cabin accessory options that can be personalised according to the owner’s preference.
Chery revealed that the vehicle is capable of travelling approximately 400 km on a full battery charge, based on the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) standard.
In terms of practicality, the Chery Q offers a rear boot capacity of up to 1,450 litres plus a 70-litre front boot, making it not only a stylish compact electric vehicle but also a functional option for daily needs.
In addition to its compact design and practical features to support daily mobility, the Chery Q is equipped with an intelligent driving system and a spacious interior to enhance passenger comfort.
