Chery Q delivers practical daily functionality for urban commuters
Amid rising demand for practical and efficient urban mobility, Chery has introduced its latest compact vehicle, the Chery Q, which is designed to provide daily functionality for urban commuters. “We observe that ‘Gen Q’ in Indonesia is an agile, intelligent, practical, and connected urban generation navigating daily mobility. The Chery Q has been developed with a deep understanding of Indonesia’s mobility ecosystem into a more modern and comprehensive vehicle,” said Zeng Shuo, President Director of Chery Group Indonesia, in a statement on Sunday. To accommodate diverse consumer needs, Chery offers a 70-litre front trunk for additional storage. This front trunk complements a rear boot capacity of 1,450 litres, offering enhanced convenience for daily-active users. The Chery Q is equipped with 38 storage compartments spread throughout the cabin, designed to support urban users who frequently carry small items such as gadgets, water bottles, documents, and short-trip essentials. The cabin is designed for flexibility with an adjustable layout. A 2,700 mm wheelbase ensures ample interior space, including up to 977 mm of rear legroom. This approach ensures a comfortable cabin for both personal use and family trips. Modern lifestyle support is provided by the 6.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, enabling the vehicle to supply external power for electronic devices, making it ideal for outdoor activities and emergency situations. In addition to practical features, the Chery Q includes supporting technologies such as a 540-degree panoramic camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. To support daily mobility, charging from 30% to 80% can be achieved in 16.5 minutes, with a range of up to 400 kilometres based on NEDC testing. This fast charging capability solidifies the Chery Q as a reliable daily commuter vehicle.
