Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chery, together with Jaguar Land Rover, has introduced the latest Freelander 8 SUV, incorporating advanced driver assistance technology and a new generation of fast-charging systems. According to a report from Carnewschina on Monday local time, the Freelander 8 is the first model from the revived Freelander brand as a new energy vehicle (NEV). This model is positioned as a large-sized SUV with a three-row seat configuration targeting the premium segment. The vehicle is built on an 800V architecture that supports various types of electrification systems, including pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and range extender. In terms of design, the Freelander 8 features a modern SUV appearance with bold proportions and body lines that reinforce the character of contemporary electric vehicles. The interior is equipped with a large digital screen and an intelligent cockpit system to enhance the driving experience.
