Seminar on Principles, Processes and Tools of Strategic
Management

The Swiss German University (SGU) is organizing an intensive
three-day seminar for managers wishing to increase competitive
advantage by efficiently designing and implementing strategic
plans.

The seminar will be held at the Financial Club of Jakarta in
the Graha Niaga building 27th Floor, which is located on Jl.
Sudirman Kav. 58. It runs from Oct. 24 through Oct 26.

The seminar is for business unit managers and also technical
or marketing/sales managers who want to improve their knowledge
in designing strategic plans and understanding strategic
concepts.

The seminar will focus on knowledge and abilities required by
business managers to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

It will cover three important elements of successful
strategies:

* Understanding the dynamics of your business

* Building competitive advantage

* Putting strategy into practice.

The seminar will be led by Dr. Hans Jaeger of the Swiss German
University; a Professor for Strategic Management and former
president of the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen,
Switzerland.

Professor Jaeger has broad experience in Strategic Management
as President and Director Asia/Pacific of a large Swiss-based
technology corporation as well as head of the strategic committee
of Corporate Executive Management.
