A number of issuers are scheduled to distribute cash dividends this month. Based on disclosure reports from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), there are five companies set to distribute jumbo dividends in the near future.
Dividends represent a portion of company profits distributed to shareholders. The amount of the dividend is determined by company management and must receive approval during the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Meanwhile, the ‘cum date’—the final deadline for investors to purchase shares to be eligible for dividends—is approaching for several firms.
List of Issuers with Jumbo Dividends This Month:
- PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI)
Owned by Garibaldi (Boy) Thohir, PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) is one of the issuers with a jumbo dividend this month. The company is distributing a total cash dividend of US$ 200 million, or approximately Rp 3.5 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp 17,926). The dividend cum date is set for 4 June, with the ex-date the following day. The recording date is scheduled for 8 June, with dividend payments set for 18 June.
- PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS)
A subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS), is also recorded as an issuer with a jumbo dividend this month. The company is distributing a total dividend of US$ 172,291,839, or approximately Rp 3.08 trillion. The dividend cum date is set for 4 June, with the ex-date on 5 June. The recording date is scheduled for 8 June, with dividend payments set for 24 June.
