Information on today’s Pertalite prices is widely sought by the public, especially after the price increase for several non-subsidised fuels since 4 May 2026. Amid the surge in non-subsidised fuel prices, today’s Pertalite price is confirmed to remain unchanged and has not experienced any adjustment. Previously, the government also assured that subsidised Pertalite prices would not rise until the end of 2026. These prices also apply in various regions, including searches for today’s Pertalite prices in Central Java, which still follow the national regulations for subsidised fuels. The decision was made after considering the national energy stock conditions and the country’s fiscal capacity. “Insyaallah, our stocks are above the minimum standard, whether diesel, petrol, or LPG. Insyaallah, it’s safe, and once again, I say that we have agreed on the direction from the President that subsidised fuel prices will not be raised until the end of the year,” said the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia in Jakarta on Thursday (16/4/2026). The receipt states the non-subsidised Pertalite price at Rp 16,088 per litre. However, there is a government subsidy of Rp 6,088 per litre, so consumers only pay Rp 10,000 per litre. The virality of the receipt has led many people to question why the non-subsidised Pertalite price appears more expensive than Pertamax. In fact, the current Pertamax price at Pertamina petrol stations is still Rp 12,300 per litre.
