Check Out Used Fortuner and Pajero Diesel Prices After Fuel Price Hike
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The rise in non-subsidised diesel fuel prices is starting to impact the used car market for diesel-engined vehicles, including popular models such as the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
Daniel Libianto from the used car dealer Victory 88 Autocar said that the market is currently in an adjustment phase due to the diesel price increase.
“On average, traders are monitoring the development of diesel car prices from the impact of the diesel price hike. There will certainly be a price correction, but currently the drop is not much, only about 5 per cent,” Daniel told Kompas.com on Monday (20/4/2026).
In agreement, Andi, owner of the Jordy Motor showroom at MGK Kemayoran, stated that the impact of the price drop is likely to become apparent in the near future.
“If it’s not too visible now, perhaps in one or two weeks it will show the decline,” Andi said.
Based on Kompas.com’s search from several used car sales websites, the prices of used Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero diesel-engined vehicles vary greatly depending on the production year, type, vehicle condition, and document completeness.
For diesel Fortuners, used prices remain quite diverse. For example, the 2014 Fortuner 2.5 G VNT AT is offered at around Rp 244 million. Meanwhile, a younger variant like the 2016 2.4 VRZ AT is in the range of Rp 335 million.
Moving to newer models, the 2019 Fortuner 2.4 VRZ TRD AT is sold at around Rp 390 million, while the 2021 version reaches Rp 500 million. For the top variant like the 2022 2.8 GR Sport AT, the price is in the range of Rp 468 million, and the 2024 model touches Rp 535 million.
Meanwhile, the diesel Pajero Sport also shows a similar price trend. The 2017 Pajero Sport 2.4 Dakar AT is sold at around Rp 348 million, while the 2018 special edition Rockford Fosgate Dakar AT is in the range of Rp 390 million.
For newer models, the 2022 Pajero Sport 2.5 Exceed AT is offered at around Rp 358 million. The 2022 Dakar AT variant is in the range of Rp 450 million, 2023 at around Rp 498 million, and the 2024 model reaches Rp 525 million.
