Check Operational Schedule for BRI, BCA, BNI During Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr Holiday 2026

JAKARTA — Several major national banks have adjusted their operational schedules during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr holidays, which will run from 18-24 March 2026.

Bank operational schedules during this period largely follow Bank Indonesia’s (BI) adjustments, which will suspend most banking services. The services that BI will not operate include the entire BI Real Time Gross Settlement (BI-RTGS) system, BI Scripless Securities Settlement System (BI-SSSS), BI Electronic Trading Platform (BI-ETP), Bank Indonesia’s National Clearing System (SKNBI), cash services, and all rupiah and foreign currency monetary operations. BI will also not publish information on the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR), non-US Dollar/Rupiah reference rates, Indonesia Overnight Index Average (INDONIA), Compounded INDONIA, and INDONIA Index.

During this period, BI will only fully operate the Bank Indonesia Fast Payment (BI-FAST) service. “All Bank Indonesia operational activities will resume normally on Wednesday, 25 March 2026,” BI stated in its announcement on Monday, 9 March 2026.

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, will operate only 186 of its branch offices to serve customer banking needs during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday period. BRI will operate these 186 branches, sub-branches, and cash offices on 18, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026 from 08:00 to 15:00 local time. On 19, 21, and 22 March 2026, BRI will not be operational.

The BRI units that open will only provide account opening transactions, cash withdrawals and deposits, debit card services, e-banking registration, state revenue deposits, customer complaints, and special customer services from Pertamina and Jasa Raharja. In addition to limited branch operations, BRI has prepared digital banking channels during this period, with 10,650 ATMs, 284,670 EDC terminals, nearly 607 merchant partners, over 1.19 million BRILink agents, and over 4.6 million QRIS points ready to serve customers.

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, or BCA, has determined that all BCA branch offices will not operate on 19, 21, 22, and 23 March 2026. On 18 and 24 March 2026, BCA will operate certain branch offices to serve all banking transactions except foreign exchange, SKNBI, and RTGS.

On 20 March 2026, several BCA branch offices will operate for Pertamina business-to-business services at the Bandung, Galaxy, Madiun, Matraman, Palembang, and Semarang regional centres. The list of branch offices operating on 18, 20, and 24 March 2026 can be viewed at bca.co.id.

BCA will resume normal operations at all branch offices on 25 March 2026. However, during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr holiday, BCA will continue to provide 24-hour banking service access that customers can use at any time through digital platforms such as myBCA, BCA mobile, and KlikBCA. Customers wishing to make deposits or withdrawals during this period can also take advantage of the cardless feature in myBCA and BCA mobile, allowing ATM transactions to be carried out conveniently without a card.
