Chased from Gilimanuk to Bangli, Two Russian Nationals Arrested by BNN After Vehicle Overturns

Two Russian foreign nationals, identified by the initials SK (39) and KK (51), have been arrested by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) alongside officers from the National Narcotics Agency and Soekarno-Hatta Customs and Excise in Bali. Both are suspected of involvement in drug trafficking. The arrests were carried out by BNN officers together with the Soekarno-Hatta Customs office between 8.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. local time. Prior to their capture, a chase ensued. The pursuit of SK and KK unfolded from Gilimanuk Port to Jalan Nusantara in Kayubihi Village, Bangli District, Bangli Regency. During the chase, several warning shots were fired. The incident concluded when the vehicle the pair were travelling in was involved in an accident and overturned. The suspects are currently undergoing examination at the Bangli Police Station. The suspected drug trafficking case involving the two Russian nationals remains under investigation.
