Changing Public Perception, Tangsel Land Office Optimises Digital Services through Sentuh Tanahku App
To improve the quality of public services and achieve transparency in land information, the South Tangerang Land Office (Kantah Tangsel) is encouraging the public to utilise the official digital application from the Ministry of ATR/BPN, known as Sentuh Tanahku.
Kantah Tangsel Head, Seto Apriyadi, told reporters in Tangsel on Thursday (26/3) that the use of this application is now closely integrated with service procedures at the Kantah Tangsel counter. Seto stated that this step is part of the digital transformation to make it easier for the public to handle land administration without going through lengthy manual processes.
He explained that the Sentuh Tanahku application is a mobile app launched by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to facilitate public access to real-time land and spatial information via smartphones. The app is designed so that the public can monitor their land assets and access land services anytime and anywhere.
“For example, to provide comfort and order, the public planning to come directly to the Kantah Tangsel service counter is required to obtain an online queue number through the Sentuh Tanahku application,” said Seto.
He added that the public often wonders how far their land processing has progressed. With the “Info Layanan” feature in the Sentuh Tanahku application, applicants can check their file status independently. Simply enter the file number, and the processing status (whether it is being examined, processed, or completed) will be clearly visible.
“We want to change the stigma that handling land matters is complicated. With Sentuh Tanahku, certainty of time and process transparency are in the public’s grasp. So, before coming to the office, ensure you have registered for an online queue, and if you want to know which desk your file has reached, just check the app,” Seto concluded.
