Changi Becomes Asia's Best Airport in 2026, Are There Indonesian Airports?

Singapore’s Changi Airport has again been named Asia’s best airport in 2026.

The award was presented at the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, which involved millions of readers from the affluent travel segment.

Changi was recognised for its excellence in travel experience, ranging from automated check-in systems, passport-free immigration, to comprehensive entertainment facilities including a 24-hour cinema and spaces featuring art installations and tropical gardens.

Additionally, Changi became one of the world’s first airports to implement a passport-free immigration system across all terminals, enabling security screening in just seconds.

Notably, Indonesia also has two airports that made the list, including I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, which ranks in the top five.

The results confirm the dominance of Asian airports in delivering modern, efficient services and comprehensive facilities for international passengers.
