Changan Opens Pre-Orders for Deepal S05, Starting from IDR 500 Million

Changan has officially opened pre-orders for the Changan Deepal S05, introducing the first Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology to the Indonesian market. The compact SUV, which is available in both REEV and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) variants, is priced starting from IDR 500 million.

Setiawan Surya, CEO of Changan Indonesia, stated that the REEV technology was chosen because it suits the mobility conditions of the Indonesian public. The REEV variant is equipped with a 1,500cc petrol engine, alongside an electric motor capable of producing 160 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 2.28 kWh LFP battery.

During the pre-order period, the first 500 customers will receive exclusive benefits worth up to IDR 20 million. The vehicle features a minimalist design with a sporty silhouette derived from its SUV platform.
