Changan Nevo Q05 Prioritises Technology for Daily Drivers
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Changan Indonesia is testing its luck in the domestic automotive market through the Changan Nevost Q05, which emphasises the application of smart technology, comfort, and safety features designed for daily mobility needs.
“With the ‘Smart Drive, Easy Life’ concept, we want to present an electric SUV that not only follows technological developments but is also truly relevant to the rhythm and lifestyle of today’s consumers,” said the CEO of Changan Indonesia, Setiawan Surya, in an official statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
In terms of technology supporting daily driving, the Changan Nevo Q05 features a 14.6-inch main screen with 1080P resolution and a 10.17-inch digital instrument panel.
The infotainment system is powered by the MT8675 7nm automotive chip, while connectivity includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth Key, and vehicle control via an application.
Voice command features can also be used without the need for a trigger word and support the Indonesian language.
Regarding driving comfort, the Changan Nevo Q05 offers dimensions of 4,435 x 1,855 x 1,600 mm with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.
Rear passenger legroom is claimed to reach 320 mm, while the second-row floor is made flat to provide better flexibility for passengers.
Changan also claims that the vehicle possesses a high level of practicality, which serves as one of its key attractions.
In terms of luggage space, the vehicle has a capacity of 540 litres, which can be expanded to 1,380 litres when the rear seats are folded.
Inside the cabin, there are 27 storage spaces, including a hidden compartment with a 90-litre capacity and flexible partitions.
To support comfort, the front seats can recline up to 165 degrees, while the rear seats feature two levels of recline adjustment.
The Changan Nevo Q05 is equipped with an electric motor producing a maximum power of 120 kW and 190 Nm of torque.
3C fast charging allows the battery to charge from 30 to 80 per cent in approximately 15 minutes. Changan also equips the vehicle with 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability to support outdoor activities.
Safety aspects are reinforced by the Golden Shield Battery 2.0, CATL battery cells, six airbags, a high-strength body structure, IPX8 water resistance, a 540-degree camera with a transparent chassis, and a 360-degree driving recorder camera.
“Therefore, the Changan Nevo Q05 is also equipped with various features that support comfort, connectivity, and safety, ensuring every journey feels more practical and effortless,” he said.
In Indonesia, the Changan Nevo Q05 is available in the Pro variant priced at Rp349 million and the Max variant at Rp339 million.
