Changan Nevo Q05 recorded a positive result at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, securing 876 vehicle order forms (SPK) with the top-spec Max variant dominating at 80 percent of sales.

“For the top Max type, the share is almost 80 percent compared with the Pro,” said Changan Indonesia Head of Marketing Rizal Mulyadi on the sidelines of the Changan Nevo Q05 media drive in Jakarta on Thursday.

The high contribution of the Max variant indicates that consumers are beginning to consider technological completeness and vehicle capability when choosing an electric car, in addition to price factors.

The electric motor relies on a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 51.9 kWh and a front-wheel drive (FWD) system.

The vehicle’s drive system has an efficiency of up to 94 percent with energy consumption of 12.9 kWh per 100 kilometres.

On a full battery, the Q05 can travel up to 462 kilometres based on the NEDC method.

Efficiency is also supported by an active grille shutter and an aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.265.

In terms of charging, the Q05 uses Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology that supports 3C fast charging up to 162 kW.

Another value-added feature is the 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing the vehicle battery to be used as an external power source.

Overall, Changan recorded more than 1,500 test drives and attracted over 35,000 visitors during GIIAS 2026.

This achievement serves as an initial foundation for Changan to strengthen its presence in the Indonesian electric vehicle market.
