Changan Makes Debut at GIIAS, Accelerating with Diverse Vehicle Lineup

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automotive manufacturer Changan is proud to participate in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia after China, for the very first time. Changan is leveraging this event to accelerate its market entry by presenting a comprehensive range of electrified vehicles tailored to the needs of the Indonesian public.

Setiawan Surya, CEO of Changan Indonesia, stated that this debut at GIIAS is part of the company’s strategy to expand brand awareness while providing more electric vehicle options for Indonesian consumers. “At GIIAS 2026, Changan is presenting a complete product line, ranging from the Changan Lumin, Deepal S07, and Deepal S05, to the Nevo Q05 as the newest member of our electric SUV family. With the expansion of Changan’s product line, we hope consumers can find a variety of electrification products that suit their mobility needs,” said Setiawan at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, on Thursday (30/7).

The company is displaying 13 vehicle units, consisting of five Nevo Q05 units, four Deepal S05 units, two Deepal S07 units, and two Lumin units. The Nevo Q05 is the latest model introduced to complete Changan’s electrified vehicle portfolio in Indonesia.

In addition to the exhibition display, the company has provided six test-drive units so that visitors can personally experience several marketed models, namely the Nevo Q05, Deepal S05 REEV, Deepal S05 BEV, Deepal S07, and Lumin. Changan’s participation in GIIAS also serves to introduce technology and driving experiences through various interactive activities at the booth, including electric vehicle-themed games and activities aimed at families.

On the sales front, Changan is offering several financing programmes during the exhibition, including zero per cent interest, down payments starting from 15 per cent, and instalment payment schemes. The company is also providing additional incentives, such as direct gifts and lucky draw programmes for consumers who complete transactions during GIIAS.

Through its inaugural participation in GIIAS 2026, Changan adds to the list of automotive manufacturers utilising this annual exhibition as a platform for new product launches, while strengthening competition in the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment in the Indonesian market.
