Changan Indonesia Introduces the S05 REEV

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Changan Indonesia has introduced the Changan S05 electrified vehicle with Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, scheduled to launch in the Indonesian market this year. “The S05 is the first REEV variant to arrive in the Indonesian automotive market, and we will introduce it as we have already brought in the model,” said Ridjal Mulyadi, Head of Marketing for Changan Indonesia, in Jakarta on Thursday. During a preview session in South Jakarta, the exterior of the Changan S05 REEV was displayed, but the interior was not shown. The compact vehicle, configured for five passengers, features a minimalist design with few curves and lines on its body. The company has not yet disclosed details on the specifications of the Changan S05 REEV to be marketed in Indonesia, nor the price and launch date of the vehicle. According to information on the official Changan Europe website, the Changan Deepal S05 measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. The vehicle is powered by a 1,500 cc petrol engine, an electric motor producing 160 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque, and a 2.28 kWh LFP battery.
