Changan holds exhibitions across seven cities, including Jakarta and Yogyakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automotive brand Changan is holding simultaneous exhibitions across seven cities in Indonesia over the coming weeks as part of its efforts to strengthen domestic market penetration.
Since its official launch in Indonesia in November, Changan now offers two electric vehicle models that have received positive consumer reception.
The simultaneous exhibitions are taking place from late last weekend through early April at shopping centres in seven cities, including South Jakarta, South Tangerang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Makassar, and Palembang.
The exhibitions showcase Changan’s Lumin mini urban electric vehicle and Deepal S07 electric SUV, allowing consumers to consult with representatives and take direct test drives.
“We view these major cities as potential markets with consumers who increasingly prioritise attractive design, innovative features, and good value when choosing vehicles,” said Changan Indonesia CEO Setiawan Surya in an official statement.
During the exhibition period, Changan is offering various exclusive sales programmes, including zero per cent interest schemes, light down payment promotions, and balloon payment options to provide financial flexibility.
Since its official entry into the Indonesian market in mid-November, Changan has received positive reception from domestic consumers, successfully securing hundreds of orders at the latest automotive exhibition, the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 last month.
At that event, Changan also won two awards simultaneously: the most affordable electric vehicle award for the Changan Lumin model and the best medium electric SUV award for the Deepal S07.
