Chairwoman of Little Aresha Daycare Foundation Was Once a Corruption Defendant

The handling of the alleged child abuse case at Little Aresha Daycare in Sorosutan, Yogyakarta City, continues to develop. Amid the investigation process, it has been revealed that the foundation’s chairwoman, Diyah Kusumastuti, who has been designated as a suspect, has a legal track record, namely involvement in a corruption case. Based on the Case Search Information System (SIPP) of the Semarang District Court (PN), Diyah Kusumastuti is recorded as having been a defendant in a criminal corruption case in 2014. The case details state that Diyah was proven to have committed the criminal act of corruption, causing financial losses to the state, namely the Central Java Provincial Government and the Purworejo Regency Government. The Head of Criminal Investigation at Yogyakarta Police Resort, Commissioner Riski Adrian, confirmed this matter. Information regarding this background is currently being further investigated by the investigators. “It has (been confirmed -Ed), we are currently requesting the court decision from the Semarang District Court,” he said when met in the Tugu Pal Putih area on Friday (1/5/2026).
