Chairul Tanjung and Anggito Abimanyu Present Scholarships to UGM

Founder and Chairman of CT Corp, Chairul Tanjung, and Head of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS), Anggito Abimanyu, presented all funds collected from the Jogja Run D-City 2026 event to support scholarships for students at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).

“Ladies and gentlemen, the money you paid for tickets is being donated for UGM student scholarships. Nothing has been deducted in any way; the total amount is IDR 805,105,804,” said CT at the Jogja Run D-City main event held at UGM’s Innovation and Creativity Hall on Sunday (24 May 2026).

However, CT noted that the scholarship fund would be matched to IDR 1 billion by the Head of the LPS Board of Commissioners, Anggito Abimanyu.

“Don’t worry, it will be matched to IDR 1 billion by the LPS,” explained CT.

“We will match it, Pak CT,” responded Anggito.

The donation was presented to UGM representatives, namely Rector Ova Emilia and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat. Ova expressed her appreciation for the donation supporting her students’ scholarships.

“God willing, this is a trust to help our younger brothers and sisters complete their studies. Scholarships for UGM, thank you,” said Ova.
