CFX Partners with Universities to Strengthen Crypto Industry Literacy and Talent
The crypto exchange PT Central Financal X (CFX) has partnered with several universities to strengthen literacy, research, and human resource development within the crypto asset sector. This move comes alongside the growth of the digital asset industry, which requires support from talent and innovation to ensure sustainable development.
The collaboration was announced during the CFX Crypto Conference (CCC) 2026 in Jakarta on Monday (8/6/2026). CFX signed memoranda of understanding with the University of Indonesia (UI), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and the State Finance Polytechnic STAN.
CFX President Director Subani stated that collaboration with higher education institutions is necessary to bridge the needs of the industry with the academic world, particularly in facing the rapid developments in digital financial technology.
“For us, education and literacy regarding crypto assets are not merely campaigns, but must be structural. The signing of the memorandum of understanding with UI, UGM, and STAN is a concrete step to ensure that innovation in this sector is supported by adequate research and talent,” said Subani.
According to him, the development of the crypto asset industry does not only depend on transaction growth and the number of investors. The industry also requires support from research, innovation, and human resources who understand the technology and governance of digital assets. Through this cooperation, CFX and the universities will optimise the use of resources, expertise, and facilities to support the development of the national digital financial ecosystem.
In addition to the university partnerships, CFX also presented awards to several Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD) through the CFX Knight Awards 2026. The awards were given to industry players judged to have contributed to market development, increased literacy, compliance, and service innovation.
Indodax received awards in the literacy and education category as well as the largest contribution to the growth of the crypto asset market. FLOQ received an award for its commitment to fulfilling obligations as exchange members, Pluang won for the best user experience, while Ajaib recorded the most significant market share growth.
Subani noted that collaboration between industry, academia, and regulators is a vital factor in building a stronger and more competitive crypto asset ecosystem. “This industry will not grow without the contribution of its members. Therefore, these awards serve as a form of appreciation for their role in building a more credible and competitive market,” concluded Subani.
