CFD Rasuna Said South Jakarta Prepares Parking Capacity for 3,687 Vehicles
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared parking capacity for 3,687 vehicles during the implementation of the Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, on Sunday (10/5/2026).
The parking capacity consists of 1,680 cars and 2,007 motorcycles, distributed across several points around the Rasuna Said and Kuningan areas.
Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Ujang Harmawan, stated that the parking pockets have been prepared to support community activities during the CFD.
“For Jalan HR Rasuna Said on the eastern side, it applies to the segment from the Gembira Street intersection to the Raya Casablanca Street intersection. Meanwhile, on the western side, it applies to the segment from the Prof. Dr. Satrio Street intersection to the Setiabudi Utara Raya Street intersection,” Ujang said in his official statement on Friday (8/5/2026).
The CFD on Jalan HR Rasuna Said will take place from 05:30 to 10:00 WIB on both sides of the road.
On the eastern side, the CFD area applies from the Gembira Street intersection to the Raya Casablanca Street intersection. Whereas on the western side, it applies from the Prof. Dr. Satrio Street intersection to the Setiabudi Utara Raya Street intersection.
During the CFD implementation, the DKI Transportation Agency will also implement traffic engineering around the Rasuna Said and Kuningan areas.
Motorists are advised to avoid those road sections and use alternative routes to reduce vehicle density.
Meanwhile, vehicles from the direction of Kampung Melayu heading to Tanah Abang or Karet are directed via Raya Casablanca Street, Prof. Dr. Satrio Street, and KH Mas Mansyur Street.
For vehicles from the direction of Tanah Abang or Karet heading to Manggarai, motorists can pass through RM Margono Djojohadikoesoemo Street, Galunggung Street, and Sultan Agung Street.
Vehicles from the direction of Kuningan heading to Menteng are directed via Prof. Dr. Satrio Street, Denpasar Raya Street, Setiabudi Street, Setiabudi Utara Raya Street, Setiabudi Tengah Street, and Galunggung Street.
Although there will be road closures during the CFD, public transportation services will continue to operate normally.
Transjakarta will continue to serve passengers around the location on routes L13 (Puri Beta–Flyover Kuningan Express), 4D (Pulo Gadung–Kuningan), 6 (Ragunan–Galunggung), 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi), and 6H (Senen–Lebak Bulus).
The DKI Transportation Agency urges the public to comply with traffic arrangements, follow the directions of officers on the ground, and prioritise safety while engaging in activities in the Rasuna Said CFD area in South Jakarta.
